The Artist Project 2026
This new body of work grew out of my time in France last fall, including a visit to Claude Monet’s gardens at Giverny and a residency in the village of Orquevaux. Immersed in a new landscape for two weeks alongside other artists, I was inspired by the hills, pond, gardens, and animals that surrounded me each day. The paintings that followed reflect that experience, with a shift toward more natural tones and a slightly more observational approach, while still holding onto the vibrant colour that has always been part of my work and my life.
